Sports Chaplaincy Training

Underpinning SCA's training is our Certificate in Sports Chaplaincy (CSC) training intensive for all ministry personnel.

We also provide a range of specialised training courses including Advanced Sports Chaplaincy Certificate (CSC2), Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing (CISM/D), Suicide Awareness (LPA), First Aid (SFA), Adrenaline & Stress in Sports (SSA) to empower our chaplains in their role.

SCA Training is open to any Christian minister or lay minister, student, church ministry team leader or bible believing Christian interested or involved in sports chaplaincy or ministry. Also,

Certificate Courses

Certificate in Sports Chaplaincy (CSC)
The Certificate in Sports Chaplaincy (CSC) course is a 5 day intensive which will prepare you for effective sports chaplaincy. Some of the finest Australian sports chaplaincy and sports industry personnel will train you in the following areas.

Certificate courses are run in various states. However, our National Office in Victoria runs the Certificate in Sports Chaplaincy (CSC) regularly.

Specialised Courses

Critical Incident and Stress Management (CISM)
CISM will assist you in your readiness to respond to major trauma and traumatic events. You will learn how to respond and recover during times of major crisis.

LCP will equip you to respond effectively to those thought to be suicidal and those contemplating suicide.
