We want to help serve your church empower and appoint sports chaplains by training them and equipping them in their role. It's our desire that every sports club and group in your region has a chaplain and look forward to assisting you in seeing sports chaplaincy become a widespread model of community ministry through the local church in Australia.

Strengthening the Church Chaplain Relationship
We take seriously the essential role our churches play in the life of our chaplains. We therefore encourage both our chaplains and partner churches to keep practically investing in their relationship.

Sports Chaplaincy Ambassadors

Maybe you don't want to be a chaplain! You may be interested in becoming one of our strategic Sports Chaplaincy Ambassadors in the sport or club that you are involved in.

Our Ambassadors talk and act on our behalf to see chaplains appointed to competitions around Australia. So, for example, John Smith is a local church lay leader and coach of his son's junior football team. He regularly meets with the coaches and president of other teams. John would make a great Ambassador to see chaplains appointed to the other clubs in his junior competition... And beyond.

We would welcome you to find out more here (PDF) and send in the application form attached. Thank you.
