As part of SCA's ongoing Professional Development for Chaplains the 2 days of CISM training at conference will provide you with a SCA CISM Certificate (SCA-PD-CISM) on successful completion.
Rev. Dr. Stephen Robinson
Emergency Services Chaplain & Author of 'Ministry in Disaster Settings'

Rev. Dr. Stephen Robinson is a Uniting Church Minister at Lugarno in the Georges River area of Sydney. He has been a volunteer chaplain and firefighter with the NSW Rural Fire Service serving in three fire districts since 1996. Stephen is a member of the NSW/ACT Synod’s Disaster Recovery Committee its representative on the NSW State Disaster Recovery Committee. The book "Ministry in Disaster Settings: Lessons from the Edge" emerged from his Doctor of Ministry dissertation for Fuller Theological Seminary. Stephen will be bringing his expertise to us on this significant aspect of sports chaplaincy ministry. "How should we respond?"
Garry Coleman
CISM - Trauma

For over 25 years Garry Coleman has been significantly involved in providing ministry to the people of motor sports during traumatic events. He will bring his many years of experience to provide both insight and practical keys to respond to trauma successfully as chaplains.
Mark Bateman
CISM - First Response

Mark, the National Director of Chaplaincy Australia and SCA Motor Racing Chaplain will be teaming up to present on this crucial aspect of chaplaincy ministry.
David Vaughan
CISM - Stress Management & Debriefing

David Vaughan has for many years been at the thick of it in rally motor sports ministry. From the death of legendary Rally Champion Possom Bourne to ministering to those with life debilitating physical trauma David will bring insight into managing the stress of a traumatic event.
Gary Speckman
The Chaplain as P4

One of Gary's most outstanding sessions in the Certificate of Sports Chaplaincy Training, Gary will bring fresh insight into how speak into the lives of sports people by demonstrating and involving everyone to participate. What's P4? Come along to find out...
